Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend this year and every year by taking Mom to the William Paca Garden Plant Sale.
The sale features a variety of heirloom flowers, vegetables and herbs, native trees and shrubs, and some of the newest seeds offered in this year’s seed catalog. All plants are grown by Paca Garden volunteers, and proceeds of the sale go to support the programs of Historic Annapolis, Inc., including the maintenance of the reconstructed, 18th-century William Paca Garden. There is no admission fee and reservations are not required. The sale is located in the William Paca Garden with a special event entrance at 1 Martin Street in Annapolis. For more information, visit www.annapolis.org, or call 410-267-8146.
Perennials include beautiful blue heirloom Baptisia from the Paca Garden, popular pink Bleeding Heart, and the captivating variegated Solomon’s Seal.
Annuals and Biennials provide color all summer, including several varieties of old-fashioned hollyhocks, a beautiful blue salvia, and the already-potted, heirloom Fairy Lily bulbs.
Trees and Shrubs, including fall-fruiting purple Beautyberry, beautiful Lacecap Hydrangeas, the striking Doublefile Viburnum, and the evergreen, shade-loving, deer-resistant Mahonia shrub.
